Foundation for combination skin - L'oreal true match

L'oreal true match foundation N1
Using foundation on a daily basis is not easy. A daily foundation, in my opinion, should meet 3 essential criteria: to be light weight, as less visible as possible and to even your skin tone.

I must admit, I do not use a base for foundation. The only special thing I do is using Organic Cold Pressed RoseHip Oil (that I love) each night before sleep and in the morning my skin is hydrated and ready for foundation without needing to apply a moisturiser beforehand. These being said, after many trial/error cases, I have found my best match. It is L’oreal Paris – true match super-blendable foundation.

Reasons why I find it the best:
1.       It is light weight
2.       You don’t feel it on the skin at all
3.       You have a wide range of shades to choose from
4.       It is water resistant
5.       It stays on your face all day without fixing it with powder

Choosing the shade
You can find complex information on how to find your shade on L’oreal website. My skin is pale but not in extreme. I have blue eyes and dark brown hair and I also have a few freckles.  In winter I use N1 Ivory mixt with a very tiny part of C2 Rose Vanilla and apply it on my face including under eye area.

My type of skin
I have combination (neither oily neither dry) skin.

Where to buy it
Usually, I would prefer to buy it from supermarket (In UK e.g ASDA) or Boots, however, they never have the shades I need. These being said, I buy it from Ebay most of the time.

What I do not like is the fact that it becomes a little messy on the top of dispenser. But that is a minor aspect I suppose.

Price
The cost of 30ml bottle is £7-£10

What do you use on your skin? I am always interested to try new products in order to find even better choices.

Thanks for your time, and don’t forget, less is more.
